Not to say that my wife’s email outage reflects on me as a geek or a human being, but it totally does.
I find the wording in Sarah’s twitter post interesting. “or, um… Use a phone”
It doesn’t say “or, um… Call”
when was the last time you used a phone to CALL to someone other than your mom or at work? its been a while for me. (weeks?) but, i *DO* frequently use my phone to communicate with other people in many different ways (facebook, email, twitter, instant message).
There are so many ways to get in touch with someone without email now, that i don’t even notice if my mail server goes down until someone else points it out to me via another method of communication.
