All the greater my joy to see Alissa, Mollie, Natalie, Katie, even Marika and Judy Fujimura were there. Lydia Fujimura is becoming quite a young lady, and I was reminded to attend her father’s International Arts Movement conference next month. I brought a Galette des rois since it’s Epiphany, and we plotted for Katie to receive the piece with the baby in it. Unfortunately, in place of the promised baby, old Claude had put a tiny glazed goat. It’s an odd tradition.  Sarah was glowing, and it appears better prepared for this next adventure than Ken, who apparently turned to her one day and said, Do you realise the baby had to come through your pelvis?  To which Sarah responded, Well how else did you expect it to come out?  It is well that Ken is holding to only those simplest maxims of parenting, which you can read more about here (”Baby Rule # 1: Do not kill your baby.  Baby Rule #2: Do not screw up your baby’s life.”). Speaking of Alex’s charming apartment, She is again shockingly with child–and we are again puzzled by whom!
