Posegate Nano

On April 22^nd^, 2006 at 1:17 AM, Evan Charles Posegate was introduced into our world. Weighing in at 7 lbs and at 19 ¾ inches long, Evan waited for a full 22 hours of labor–apparently so he could be born on Earth Day, proving his Ithaca pedigree. “Mom”:http://sarah.posegate.org and “Dad”:http://russell.posegate.org and “baby”:http://evan.posegate.org are all doing great.

    Congrats! As Evan’s life begins. Russ and Sarah’s lives are changed forever. In my close circle of family, he is the first of this generation. We are celebrating in Washington for you!

    This is a little too hard for me to believe! Russell is a dad! Hmm… Wow! … Double wow!!! (and then some…wow!) I can’t help it with the “wow’s”. Um, wow! Cute kid! Congratulations, and, well, um, WOW!

    Congrats to all, especially Sarah for the 22 hours of ‘anticipation’.
    Grandparents filled us in on all the details. Hope to see you all soon, perhaps 2-3 weeks from now for a quick visit. Again, glad all is well and congratulations.

    WAHOO!!! Way to go Uncle Ken! Nice ring to it, but you should have Evan start calling you something cooler like Uncle Shazam! I dunno, I think it’d be cool if my bro had a kid and he caled me Uncle Shazam! too.

    That kid is adorable :)
