   You what this means.

   If you plan on living in Newark and don’t want to get your kiester kicked by high rents and ridiculously rising property values, I suggest you buy something.

   You can’t stop gentrification, but you certainly can get ahead of curve and buy something before Newark becomes uber trendy. As Kunstler — may his blessed name be ever revered — has pointed out, artists are the shock troops of gentrification.
