Congrats dude – it’s been a long time coming, and it will be great to see you graduate. Comp Sci too… not a bad degree.

Speaking of which, I will be in NJ for Thanksgiving weekend and again for the week of Christmas in December… if you wanna hang out or something.

I will start posting to my blog again soon. Got lots of ideas… and almost got the motivation back.

Also blog more. We miss you when you’re gone.

Yeah. There are two problems:

1. I need to fix my forms, which haven’t changed much since the first iteration of this site. I’d like to disable the Post button after the user clicks it, but last time I did that, I broke commenting.

2. There’s still too much latency on the site when rebuilding. Code tweaks would help…

re: high-paying gig

Would that I could! The search for a new job is not out of the question, but there’s not as much money to be made in programming as there used to be. I think the real cash (well, what’s left, anyway) is in project management and system architecture. A lot of programming jobs are going overseas, and there’s no real sign of that changing anytime soon. To get some experience, I thought about working on some Open Source or pro bono work…we’ll see how that pans out.

Nothing better than graduating … being done. no more homework, no more worrying about tests. no more sort this list using the rub-a-dub-dub method.

And when you’re done with school, maybe you’ll have time to find some new pics to cycle through ont he front page
